About Stony Creek Go Karts & Cafe
Catering for individuals, parties or groups of up to 50, Stony Creek is one of the few Go-Kart Tracks who Hire Karts as well as providing facilities to bring your own. This terrific new entertainment venue with a great cafe and other games facilities on site, is conveniently located on the South Gippsland Highway approximately 130 kilometres South East of Melbourne, Victoria.
About The Track
This brand new, gently undulating track is 800 meters on the long run and 700 meters on the short. Composed of 30ml thick hotmix bitumen with 10 right and 9 left turns, 7 to 7.5 meters wide, this track will delight both the experienced and novice drivers…and to see a photograph and sketch, race off to the track page.
About The Karts
The collection of Hire Karts available are all brand spanking new Phoenix Endurance Class Karts. Their flashy 9 h.p. Honda Engines will generate speeds of over 65 kilometres per hour. All have fully adjustable seats for comfort, a centrifugal clutch system and belt drive to guarantee you a smoother ride than chain driven go-karts…catch a sneek peek for yourself on the karts page.
Safety Features
The management at Stony Creek Go Karts are very conscious of creating a safe as well as fun filled environment for everyone. Not only are all helmets and fully padded suits provided for patrons (if required), but an expensive state-of-the-art remote control shut down system has been installed to decrease the risk of accidents and control foolish behaviour.
Days Open And Closed
We are OPEN from 10am till dusk 7 days a week, especially long weekends, school holidays and public holidays. We are CLOSED X-Mas Day, Stony Creek Horse Racing Club Days, Stony Creek football home games and midweek (Tues-Thurs) through the winter period. Other Onsite Facilities
With three big 50″ Plasma screens to watch television as well as checking out the action on the track, an Air Hockey Table, Daytona Race Driving Simulator and other games machines, there’s something for everyone to enjoy…and remember, it’s a smoke and alcohol free zone, suitable for the entire family, so children are destined to be asking to come back again really soon.
Take notice of how your skills and reflexes improve dramatically by making use of the full timing facilities provided on screen as well as receiving a printout of each session…as an added bonus, Safe’s are available to keep your mobile phone, wallet and other valuable items out of harms reach.
The Cafe
The comfortably decorated, indoor/outdoor “SLIDERS” cafe is open in Spring and Summer from 10 am in the morning. Full cafe facilities supplied on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and school/public holidays. Serving all-day breakfasts as well as light meals, tasty barbecues, delicious snacks, great coffee and decadent cakes, until the checkered flag drops in the evening…it’s the perfect place for a pit stop.
